I wish there were 10 stars or even 100.  I go to Journeys a few times a year, usually for breakfast.  I have to say with no uncertainty that the chef there is one of the nicest person i have ever met.  I was there yesterday for my birthday (my 3rd birthday being celebrated there for breakfast). My  friend and I were the only 2 persons there (it was a Monday).  This gentleman  I think his name is Omar, made my morning…. Actually my entire day sooooooo special.  I wanted boil dumpling annd although it was not on the menu, he made it for me.  My dish had the word happy birthday on it.  The presentation was a 10 out of 10.  He gave me s slice of cake and he gave both my friend and I a souvenir, I also got a fruit platter on the house snd the beautiful birthday song in the background.  Wow!!!! The ackee and cod fish was fantastic.    I wish I could put this all over social media to give it more exposure.  Thank  you Omar for making me feel so special..

their oxtail is very tuff. ordered it once and maybe thought they might’ve undercooked it the first time so i gave them a second try and again it’s very tuff. not very authentic for a jamaican restaurant for oxtail to be so hard to eat, it should fall off the bone i shouldn’t have to struggle to eat a piece of meat. could have potential if it wasn’t so undercooked. if it was cooked longer none of the oxtail pieces would be stuck together or hard to bite through. we wait a long time for the food to be cooked and pay how much just for it to come out that way. as a fellow Jamaican to another, please do better.

We were guests of the hotel, and entered this restaurant just a few minutes passed close. I knew this, but was encouraged by the hotels front desk staff to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and were greated by an absolute sweetheart! She welcomed me in and was very helpful. I joked about it being passed closing time, but she assured me no problems. Granted I did mention we were looking to takeaway. When she dissapeared to the kitchen, her colleague came out and WAS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE in  demeanor. We were no longer welcomed. Her attitude and stance were very clear.
